Incorporated in 1999, Bethany Lutheran Church Foundation of Kansas is a separate 501© 3 Kansas not-for profit organization that provides financial support for the various ministries of Bethany Lutheran Church. The Foundation helps the members of Bethany make gifts (current or through their Estate documents) that will serve others and carry on the Lord’s work long after they have departed this earth. The foundation does not support the day-to-day operation needs of Bethany; rather it supports the specific needs of various ministries through the management of various Endowment and Designated Funds.

The Foundation has supported the Bethany ministries primarily in the area of education. For the past 20+ years, the Bethany Foundation has helped provide tuition assistance totaling more than $600,000 to families and individuals attending Bethany Day School, the Seminary, Missouri Synod schools and the Lutheran High School fo Kansas City.

All of this is possible through the generosity of donors who have entrusted the Foundation to be good stewards of their gifts. The Bethany Foundation works with donors to benefit both the donor and the ministries of Bethany. Donors have numerous options for giving to the Bethany Foundation.
